City Elections

The purpose of city elections is to fill the offices of Mayor, City Councilor, and Municipal Judge. The office of Mayor is elected every 4 years. City Councilors are elected for 4 year terms with half of the council being elected every 2 years. The office of Municipal Judge is elected for a 4 year term.

City elections are held on even years to elect all of the offices for which the terms have expired. The  City Elections are At-Large meaning that the candidate with the most votes wins. It is also non-partisan meaning you do not have to vote your party. You can vote for whomever you choose to vote for whether they are republican, democrat or independent.
